Mt. Pleasant, S.C. -- Omer Abramovich, Steven Myers and Ross Moyer claimed wins in singles competition in leading the College of Charleston to a 4-3 win over Florida A&M in men's college tennis action at College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point on Saturday.
The Cougars, who play host to Southern Conference foe Chattanooga in a 1:00 start on Monday, improved to 4-5 on the season. The Rattlers fell to 4-4.
After Charleston earned the doubles point by winning two-of-three matches, Abramovich beat Clifford Malivert 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, Myers earned a 7-6, 3-6, 6-4 win over Simbarashe Happy at No. 3 singles and Moyer claimed a 6-4, 5-7, 7-5 win over Pual Paige at No. 6 singles.
