COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina raced out to an early first half lead and never looked back, as the Gamecocks took a 2-0 decision from the College of Charleston in NCAA women's soccer action in front of 612 at Eugene Stone III Stadium on Thursday night.

Despite of the loss, there are still some things to be proud of.”
South Carolina tallied their first goal at the 14 minute mark, as Kim Miller scored unassisted off a free kick Miller received the kick after the Cougars committed a foul deep on the South Carolina end.
