Men?s Tennis Falls in Rock Hill, 5-2

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team was downed Sunday by the Eagles of Winthrop University, 5-2, at the Memorial Courts.
After taking the doubles point, the Eagles (3-4) managed to take four of six singles points to take the match, 5-2, and move to 3-4 on the year. Winning singles points for The College (3-2) was Crescente Lesser (Santiago, Chile) and Charlie Ghriskey (Mount Kisco, N.Y.), who managed to dispatch of Juan Pablo Boada and Steven Patrick, 3-6, 6-0, 6-1 and 6-2, 6-5, respectively.
Next up for the Cougars is UNCW, on Feb. 16, in Wilmington.
