Beckman, Murillo Named Harris Teeter Student-Athletes of the Week

Allison Beckman | Volleyball | Freshman | Apex, N.C.

With 49 assists in the match, freshman Allison Beckman broke her own record of 44 set on Oct. 10 against William and Mary. She also holds the record for most assists, 68, in a five-set match, which she set on Oct. 16 versus the same James Madison squad.

Cesar Murillo | Men's Soccer | Freshman | El Paso, Texas

Murillo led the Cougar defense in last week's 1-0 shutout over UNCW and double overtime 1-0 heartbreaker to No. 19 Elon. The Cougars surrendered just one goal in 198 minutes of play last week and clinched the #4 seed in the CAA tournament. Murillo was named a sophomore captain before the season and leads one of the best defenses in the CAA.
