Men’s Tennis Wraps Up CofC Invite to Finish Off Fall Season

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team wrapped up its fall season over the weekend, taking home four flight championships at the CofC Invite at Patriots Point.

The Cougars played against student-athletes from both Appalachian State and Campbell. SC State was also in attendance, but had to depart the tournament early.

Alec Angradi went a perfect 2-0 to capture the Flight 4 Singles championship, defeating Spencer Brown (6-3, 6-3) and Lukas Schaefer (6-2, 6-3) to do so. Easton Thomas also went unbeaten for a Flight 6 Singles championship, dispatching Alex Brea (6-3, 6-1) and Fernando Clemente (7-5, 5-7, 6-2).

Juan Estevarena and Benedikt Henning locked down a Flight One Doubles co-championship with a weekend of undefeated play, while Ryan Khan won a co-championship of his own in flight three singles.

The Cougars will return to action in the Spring season.
