CHARLESTON, S.C. --- College of Charleston returns home to the friendly confines of TD Arena on Tuesday evening to host the UNCW Seahawks on Pep Supper in the first match of a three-match home stand. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.

Lauren Freed became the 20th player in program history to reach the 1,000-dig mark for her career as College of Charleston fell to Towson in straight sets on Sunday afternoon in Colonial Athletic Association play. Towson's defense combined for 15 blocks and held the Cougars to a .117 hitting percentage.
Logan Manusky and
Brooke Harris paced all players with 15 and 11 digs respectively.
THE OPPONENT
UNCW is 11-9 overall this season and carries a 1-6 mark against CAA opponents. The Seahawks lead the conference in service aces per set (1.74) and rank fourth in opponent hitting percentage (.194). Kendall Bender ranks fourth in hitting percentage (.356). Jaime Thomas and Madison Peters pace the Seahawks in kills per set with averages of 2.40 and 2.30 respectively.

- The Cougars enter Tuesday's match with a 1-6 record in league play after falling to Towson on the road on Sunday.
- Senior Lauren Freed became the 20th player in program history to reach the 1,000-dig mark for her career on Sunday. She also needs 23 kills to become the 10th Cougar to join the 1,000-kill, 1,000-dig club.
- Manusky has been a stalwart on the back row over the last five matches averaging a squad-best 5.17 digs per set. She posted a career-high 29 digs in a five-set thriller against Elon on Oct. 4 and is 60 digs away from the 1,000-mark for her career.
- Three Cougars are averaging more than 2.00 kills per set over the last five matches including a team-leading 3.06 clip for Mandy Napierala.
- Freshman setter Tori Carpenter has seized the starting role over the last five matches averaging 8.89 assists and 1.83 digs per set in that span.
- Senior Peyton Eisnaugle has been solid over the last five matches averaging 1.73 kills per set while hitting .320. The 6-foot-1 middle blocker also has 12 blocks in that span.
- Head Coach Jason Kepner, the Cougars' all-time wins leader, needs eight victories to reach the 300-mark for his career.
