CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston volleyball team heads to Wilmington, N.C. this weekend to wrap up the 2019 season with a 1:00 p.m. matchup against UNCW on Sunday afternoon.

The Cougars fell to Hofstra in their final home match of the campaign despite a double-double from senior
Lauren Freed that featured a career-high 21 digs.
Mandy Napierala added a contest-best 18 kills while
Peyton Eisnaugle chipped in eight kills and hit .389 for the night. Hofstra held the Cougars to 16 kills over the final two frames en route to a 3-1 come-from-behind victory.
THE OPPONENT
UNCW comes into Sunday's match with a 14-44 overall record and a 4-11 mark in CAA play. The Seahawks rank second in the conference in service aces per set (1.60) and third in opponent hitting percentage (.199). Kendall Bender is sixth in blocks per set (1.09) and seventh in hitting percentage (.328).
NOTABLES
- The Cougars fell to Hofstra on Monday in their final home match of the season after the Pride rallied from a 1-0 deficit to defeat CofC in four sets.
- Three players are averaging more than two kills per set over the last five matches, led by senior Lauren Freed with a clip of 3.50 per frame and three double-doubles in that span.
- Junior Logan Manusky has been a stalwart in the back row over the last five matches averaging a squad-best 5.05 digs per set. She has recorded 20 or more digs on 10 occasions this season including three in the last five matches.
- Freshman Logan Pope has been superb over the last five matches averaging 1.80 kills per set while hitting .261 in that stretch. She has recorded six or more kills on three occasions in that span, including a season-high 10 kills at Elon on Nov. 3.
- Four Cougars have recorded 10 or more blocks in the last five matches led by senior Peyton Eisnaugle with 18 (0.90/set). Freshman Emma Falk is averaging a squad-best 1.33 blocks in that span with 12 in nine sets.
- Head Coach Jason Kepner, the Cougars' all-time wins leader, needs six victories to reach the 300-mark for his career.
