HEAD COACH CHRISTIAN MICHNER
"I was happy with our effort today against a very good NC State team. We were tested from the outset and our kids battled and never gave up through 90 minutes. We certainly had our hands full and defended more than we would have liked. I'm happy for Grace [Powell] and Caitlyn [Gonzalez] to get their first collegiate goals. We definitely had some positive moments with and without the ball. A lot to look forward to as we start preparing for our season opener next week."
WHAT'S NEXT
CofC will kick-off the regular season in a match against Stephen F. Austin on Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. in the Charleston Under Armour Invitational.
