CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston head women's soccer coach Christian Michner announced the 2026 Charleston women's soccer schedule Friday.
The Cougars will host 10 home matches with eight road matches.
"We are excited about the schedule we were able to put together for the fall. It's a great mix of opponents from mid-major leagues and teams that compete in one of the strongest leagues in the country," said Michner. "These games will test us in different ways, so we must be ready to meet each challenge head on and compete to win each game."
Kicking off the 2026 season at home, Charleston will host Southern Utah at Patriots Point on August 12 at 7:00 p.m.
The Cougars will compete against two SEC programs this season, hosting Ole Miss at Patriots Point (Aug. 20) and traveling to South Carolina (Sept. 6).
"Hosting Ole Miss is a cool opportunity for us and we're excited about that one. They've got a new staff and almost completely new team from last year and that one shapes up to be a very special as we play a doubleheader with our men's program that evening!" said Michner.
The Cougars will travel to Coastal Carolina on Sept. 10 to conclude the non-conference schedule.
"Coastal Carolina is another to keep your eye on as we've had plenty of good games with each other over the years and I expect nothing different in this next affair," added Michner.
CAA play begins with a three-game home stint, opening against William & Mary (Sept. 19) before facing off with Northeastern (Sept. 24) and Monmouth (Sept. 27).
"The CAA season is always a gauntlet, and this team has prepared very well this offseason for the rigors of our league. Opening the slate at home for the first two weekends is great for us as we've been so strong in our performances at Patriots Point," said Michner.
Charleton then travels to Hampton (Oct. 4), Drexel (Oct 8) and Towson (Oct. 11) before returning home to host UNCW (Oct 18). The final game of the regular season will be played at Patriots Point when the Cougars host Elon (Nov. 1).
All home games will be played at Patriots Point Soccer Stadium and are free admission.
