CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Men's Soccer play host to Clemson on Tuesday, Oct. 1 with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m. at Ralph Lundy Field at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, S.C. This match will be broadcasted on FloSports.
Last Outing
The Cougars fell to William & Mary on Saturday, Sept. 28 by a score of 2-0. The Cougars had multiple opportunities to get on the board and took 15 shots compared to the Tribe's 10. Sophomore Carlos Reyes took a game-high five shots including one on goal. Freshman keeper Isac Alstrom recorded five saves on 10 shots faced in the matchup.
The Opponent
The Clemson Tigers are off to a better start this season than the 2018 season. In 2018, the Tigers logged an overall record of 7-9-1 with a 2-6 conference record while they have already put up a 8-1 overall record and a 2-1 record in ACC play this season. The Tigers have shutout three opponents on the year, including an 8-0 win over Detroit Mercy and a 7-0 victory over USC-Upstate. Head Coach Mike Noonan is in the midst of his 10th season at the helm of the program and has accumulated an overall record of 100-63-28 record throughout his tenure with the Tigers.
