Cougars Hit The Road For Matchup With Terriers

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Men's Tennis hits the road to face off against Wofford on Saturday, Feb. 22 with a start time of 2 p.m.
The Cougars
CofC comes into the match with an overall record of 4-2, most recently falling to UNCW in a down-to-the-wire match by a score of 4-3 in the Cougars home opener. The Cougars fell behind early as the Seahawks took the doubles point after earning wins in the No. 1 and 3 positions.
Karl Mosterd, Easton Thomas and Robby Krick all earned wins in their respective positions to give CofC its three points.
In its four wins, The College took down Belmont Abbey, North Carolina A&T, Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M, outscoring them 22-6 to improve to 4-1 on the season before falling to UNCW.
Scouting Wofford (2 p.m. start time)
Wofford comes into the match with an overall record of a 0-5, most recently falling to Gardner-Webb by a score of 5-2. The Terriers finished the 2018-19 campaign with an 8-13 overall record.
The Cougars lead the all-time series, 15-3, winning the last seven matchups dating back to 2009.
Long-time head coach Rod Ray is in the midst of his 20th season at the helm of the program.
