Cougars Take On North Greenville and Furman On The Road

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston Men's Tennis team hits the road for a two-match road stint, starting with North Greenville on Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. in Tigerville, S.C. and finishing the weekend off with Furman on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 11 a.m. in Greeneville, S.C.
The Cougars
The Cougars currently hold a 4-3 overall record so far this season. The College looks to bounce back after two consecutive losses against UNCW (4-3) and Wofford (5-2).
CofC's four wins come against Belmont Abbey (6-1), NC A&T (6-1), Bethune-Cookman (4-3) and Florida A&M (6-1).
The Cougars are led by Robby Krick, Karl Mosterd and Easton Thomas in singles play, as they have logged 5-1, 5-2 and 5-1 records, respectively. In doubles play, Krick and Thomas are undefeated so far this season, winning both matches that they've paired up for.
Scouting North Greenville
North Greenville enters the match with an overall record of 1-4. The Crusaders finished the 2018-19 campaign with a 4-17 overall record. This marks only the second meeting between the two programs with the Cougars winning the only matchup 6-1 in Tigerville.
Scouting Furman
Furman enters the match with an 8-4 overall record. The Paladins currently ride a three-match win streak, taking down Richmond, UNC Asheville and The Citadel, outscoring them 18-3. Furman currently leads the all-time series 10-12, winning the previous two matchups with the Cougars.
