CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Tennis returns home as it plays host to Charlotte on Sunday, Feb. 9 at noon at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, S.C.

The Cougars
CofC enters the match with a 4-2 overall record, most recently defeating Charleston Southern by a score of 6-1 to win the battle of the Lowcountry. After losing the doubles point to the Buccaneers, the Cougars stormed back and quickly won four singles matches to seal the victory.

The Cougars two losses came to then No. 24 Wake Forest and ACC powerhouse Clemson while its two other wins came against Gardner-Webb and North Carolina A&T on opening weekend.

The 49ers finished the 2019 season with 19-7 record. Charlotte comes into the match with an overall record of 5-2 during the 2020 spring season. The all-time series stands at 6-4, in favor of the Cougars, with Charlotte winning the most recent matchup in April of last year by a score of 4-3. The 49ers have won four of their last five matches, outscoring its opponents 22-9.
