The short story: The Cougars couldn't overcome slow start in doubles play and didn't pick up enough momentum in singles as CofC fell to Elon on the road.

OPENING SERVE

Elon swept the doubles point, winning in all three positions.
Easton Thomas put the Cougars on the board to make the score 3-1 after taking down his opponent in the No. 5 position in straight sets.
Karl Mosterd fought hard but was narrowly defeated in both sets at the No. 2 position which sealed the win for the Phoenix.
Robby Krick gave it his all and left no room for error but was taken down in the No. 6 position.
