OPENING SERVE
- The Cougars won the first and third doubles flights to take an early 1-0 lead.
- Guido Argentini and Noah Borges set the tone with a gritty 7-5 win in the top doubles flight to seal the doubles point.
- Robby Krick and Johnny Wang each collected a straight-set win at No. 6 and No. 5 singles, respectively, to give the Cougars a 3-0 lead.
- Ben Husum delivered the decisive point with a hard-fought 7-6 (8-6), 6-1 victory in the third singles flight.
- Argentini fought his way to a 6-4, 5-7, 10-7 win at No. 1 singles to account for the Cougars' fifth point.
