CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Logan Pope put down a career-high 14 kills and the College of Charleston volleyball accumulated 16 blocks but it was not enough as William & Mary rallied from a 2-1 deficit to edge the Cougars, 3-2, in Colonial Athletic Association play on Sunday afternoon at TD Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Cougars bounced back from a 25-23 setback in set one to take a 2-1 lead with wins in the second and third sets.
William & Mary countered with a 25-21 victory in set four to force a decisive fifth frame.
The Tribe then held off a furious fifth set rally by the Cougars to claim the match win.
Charleston put down 55 kills and blocked 16 William & Mary attacks.
William & Mary dropped in 10 service aces.

COUGAR OF THE MATCH
Junior setter Amani Dunston delivered her third career double-double with 22 assists and a personal-best 18 digs to pace the offense. The Aguora, Calif. native collected eight of her 18 digs in the first set and dished out six assists in the fourth.

NOTABLES

Senior Logan Manusky surpassed the 20-dig plateau for the third consecutive match with a contest-best 22.
Pope continued her strong play with a team-best 14 kills to go along with four blocks and a .379 hitting percentage.
Gabi Bailey put down 12 kills while adding seven digs and four blocks.
Emma Falk accounted for eight kills and a match-high nine blocks.
Claire Campbell chipped in a career-high seven blocks.
Tori Carpenter dished out 21 assists and nearly accounted for a double-double with eight digs.
Sofie Vogel and Hazel Brown each accounted for nine kills.

The Cougars travel to Wilmington, N.C. next weekend to take on UNCW in back-to-back matches on Saturday and Sunday in CAA action. First serve on Saturday is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
