
Charleston Women's Tennis Looks to Bounce Back at Coastal Carolina

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston women's tennis team (1-3, 0-0) will look to snap a three-match losing streak on Wednesday afternoon as the Cougars travel to Coastal Carolina. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

Following Wednesday's match, the Cougars will return to action on Saturday to host New Orleans. First serve is set for 10:00 a.m. at the CofC Tennis Center.

- The Cougars lost a third consecutive match on February 18th after Peyton Brotzman had to retire in the final match due to injury. Charleston Southern took that match, 4-3, as a result
- Slade Coetzee, a senior, is an unblemished 4-0 in singles play
- Coetzee and her doubles partner Halli Trinkle are 3-0 in doubles action
- Slade was named the CAA Player of the Week for her efforts last week, which included taking down Clemson's #1
- Maja Jekauc and Halli Trinkle have each posted 3-1 marks in singles so far
