
Cougars Cruise to 6-1 Triumph Over Belmont-Abbey

BELMONT, N.C. -- The College of Charleston men's tennis team (7-7, 1-1) opened up the first of a two-match road swing in North Carolina with a 6-1 victory over division-two Belmont Abbey College on Saturday evening. It is the second road victory of the season for the Cougars and brings their overall record to 7-7.
The Cougars picked up wins in two doubles matches to take the first point of the match. Robby Krick and Zac Larke improved to 6-7 on the year with a 6-3 win, while Brolin Dorsey and Johnny Wang won 6-4 to move to 2-1 on the season.
In singles, CofC won five of the six matches. Noah Borges grabbed a 6-2, 6-4 win to improve to 7-6 on the season in singles competition. Andre Limon built on his club-leading singles mark, moving to 10-4 on the season with a 6-0, 6-3 win.
Robby Krick, Zac Larke, and Matias Gaedechens all added wins for the Cougars. CofC left Belmont, N.C. with a 6-1 victory.
