Holland Joins Charleston Volleyball as Graduate Transfer

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston head volleyball coach Jason Kepner as announced the addition of former first-team All-Big Ten middle blocker Allie Holland.
"Having Allie join our program is definitely a great day for CofC Volleyball. Her experience and leadership at Penn State is something that will have a huge impact on our team and program," said Kepner.
Holland played four season at Penn State, totaling 677 total kills and 464 total blocks in 102 matches for the Nittany Lions. She ranked fourth on the team this past season in total kills with 185.
The Hilliard, Ohio native was named first-team All-Big Ten and made the AVCA All-Northeast Region Team in 2022. This past season, she helped the Nittany Lions advance to the NCAA Regional Semifinal.
"Getting to spend time together on her visit, I could see her passion for the sport and her overall volleyball IQ. What a great person and teammate to help push this program into 2024. We are excited to get her back on campus this summer."
Prior to her time at Penn State, Holland was a 2019 honorable-mention all-state selection while leading Hilliard Bradley to conference and sectional titles. She was also the 2019 Ohio Capital Conference Player of the Year, a Central Ohio All-Star and an AVCA all-region honoree as well as a member of the 2019 USA Youth National Training Team.
