CHARLESTON, S.C. – Five members of the College of Charleston women's soccer team earned CAA postseason recognition announced by the conference Wednesday.
Bella Antonio, Avery Nassetta, and Faith Slimmer were named to the 2025 All-CAA Second Team while Emma Wennar and Emma Stankunas earned spots on the All-CAA Third Team.
Antonio started in 16 of 17 games playing 1,035 minutes. She led the team in points with 14. The junior scored five goals, including her second career brace against Monmouth. Antonio took 24 shots with ten on target in the 2025 season. She was the only Cougar to take and make a penalty kick this season.
Nassetta started in all 17 games for Charleston. The midfielder scored five goals and had one assist to tally 11 points. She took 28 shots with 12 on goal. Nassetta played all 90 minutes in nine games this season and at least 67 minutes in every game.
Slimmer started in all 17 games this season, playing 1,255 minutes. She scored four goals this season and one in CAA play against UNCW. The redshirt-senior took five shots against Elon and UNCW while taking the second most shots on the team with 40. She played all 90 minutes of her last collegiate match against Elon.
Wennar took a team high 66 shots this season with 30 on goal. She scored five goals and had one assist to tally 11 points. Wennar scored the game winning goal against Hofstra to secure the last home win of the season and scored Charleston's lone goal against SEC opponent Texas. Wennar played 1,089 minutes as a senior.
Stankunas played in and started in 16 games this season. She played the third most minutes of any Cougar this season with 1,295. The redshirt-sophomore scored her first career goal against Northeastern to help lead the Cougars to a 2-1 victory. Stankunas took eight shots with five on target. She played all 90 minutes in ten games this season, helping lead Charleston's backline to six shutouts this season including three CAA shutouts over Monmouth, Hampton, and Hofstra.
Charleston finished fourth in the South Division of the conference for the 2025 season with an 8-6-3 record overall and 4-3-2 in the CAA.
