Noah Gold Named to 2025 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior defender Noah Gold has been named to the 2025 Hermann Trophy Watch list, United Soccer Coaches announced on Thursday the 29.
The Hermann Trophy is presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club and is the nation's highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by voting of Division I head coaches who are members of United Soccer Coaches.
Gold earns a spot on the watchlist after joining the Cougars his junior year on the backline, scoring five goals and logging 1,365 minutes in 2024. With the honor, Gold earns his third preseason nod of the season, also being named to the United Soccer Coaches Player to Watch List and the All-CAA Preseason Team.
The Cougars will kick off their 2025 campaign on Thursday, August 21 at 7:30 p.m. hosting the Gamecocks at Patriots Point.
