CHARLESTON, S.C. – Defending CAA Champion College of Charleston begins its 51st season with 15 home matches, including two home tournaments. Head coach
Jason Kepner enters his 19th season at the College, holding an overall record of 369-191, good for a .659 winning percentage.

·       The Cougars welcome 11 newcomers to the roster, including five transfers.
·       Setters
Lauren Dow (Lander) and
Lainee Mack (Flagler) and outside hitters
Emma Duffield (Georgia),
Izzy Marinelli (East Carolina) and Rosa Brencic (Northeastern Junior College) make up the incoming Cougars with collegiate experience.
·       Charleston also brings in six freshmen to the 2025 roster with
Jumana Martin,
Makena Parthen,
Caroline Noonan,
Julia Gnida,
Amanda Busk and
Sydney Bates joining the team.
·       Kepner has added to his staff, bringing on Riley Taylor as an assistant coach who will work with the team's setters.
·       The Cougars have faced six of its 2025 non-conference opponents two-or-fewer times in program history. Of those six, CofC squares off with Bradley and Eastern Kentucky for the first time.
·       Charleston returns seven members of the championship squad, including captains
Avery Alexander,
Morgan Cobb and
Lauren Fowler.

The Cougars open the 2025 season on Friday, Aug. 29 against Eastern Kentucky in the CofC Classic in TD Arena. Opening serve is set for 7 p.m. Prior to the match, the team will unveil the 2024 championship banner. Admission to all home matches is free of charge.
