CHARLESTON, S.C. - The College of Charleston men's soccer team returns home to face Boston University at Patriots Point Friday, August 29.

The Cougars enter the match after a tight battle against Davidson, ultimately falling 3-2. Charleston started the match with a
Lennon Gill goal late into the first half for his first goal as a Cougar. Davidson fought back early, scoring three straight to help seal the victory.
Stian Bendvold added Charleston's second goal of the day in the final minutes of play.Â

Friday will mark the first meeting in program history between the Cougars and Terriers.

The Terriers enter the match with a 1-1 record to start the 2025 season. Alex Bonnington scored the first goal of the season early into the second half of the match against New Hampshire. The Terriers fell in their last match 0-4 against number one team, Vermont. Boston U is set to face fellow CAA conference member Northeastern later in the season.
