Cougars Host Camels in First CAA Home Match of the Season

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's soccer team returns to Patriots Point on Saturday, Sept. 13, to host Campbell for the Cougars' first home CAA match of the season. Action is set for 2:00 p.m.
The Cougars will be looking for their third win at home and this season against the Camels.
Charleston is coming off a 1-0 win against USC Upstate on Tuesday. Matt Lenert's penalty kick in the 70th minute secured the win for the Cougars. Jourdan Schumacher faced one shot on goal for his second shutout of the season.
The Cougars took down the Camels 2-0 last season in Buies Creek, N.C. Current Cougars Ezra White and Noah Gold each contributed a goal in the victory.
Campbell enters the matchup 2-2-1 on the year. The program is led by Ethan Roberts with four points so far this season.
Saturday's contest will serve as a Pups on the Pitch match – fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the game! The first 50 dogs will receive a Charleston-branded tug toy.
