
Men's Tennis Begins 2026 Spring Campaign at #22 Florida State

TALLAHASSEE Fla. – The Charleston men's tennis team will open its 2026 spring campaign in Tallahassee with a matchup at #22 Florida State Thursday evening.
The match will be hosted at the indoor tennis courts. The contest will not be played to clinch and all matchups will be played out.

MATCHUP HISTORY VS. FLORIDA STATE — The Cougars are 0-2 all-time against the Seminoles in the Division I era.
SCOUTING THE SEMINOLES — Coming off a second round appearance in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, the No. 22 ranked Seminoles are 2-0 and looking to make their 5th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2026. This season, Florida State is 2-0 with a 4-0 sweep over Troy and a 7-0 sweep against Mercer.
LAST TIME OUT – Last spring, the Cougars finished 9-9 with a 3-6 record on the road. Charleston last competed at the Charleston Invitational in early November. On their home courts at the Turner Tennis Center, the Cougars collected 18 total wins, including 11 individual victories.
