College of Charleston women's basketball head coach Robin Harmony has announced the addition of Saneé Cates to the women's basketball staff in July of 2025.

Cates joins the Cougars from Mississippi College, where she served as a student assistant coach to the women’s basketball program for one season after working in AAU basketball beginning in 2023.

During her time as a player, Cates was named SCC Offensive Player of the Year at Southeastern Community College before finishing her playing career at Mississippi College. Cates played under Greg Long during her time in Clinton.
