The Cougars picked up the doubles point, winning two of the three matches. Cougar tandem Jimmy Petit and Timo Siebert knocked off Georgia Southern's Germano Knorr and Lasha Janashia, 8-6. Eagle netters Perry Allen and Justin Malina downed Charles-Henri Trottet and Tom Green, 8-4. Georgia Southern's Danie van den Heever and Vincent Patry picked up the Eagles' only win of the match with a 8-2 over Philip Koller and Mike Reynolds.
In singles action Siebert, Liran Kling and Malina all recorded wins for the Cougars.
The College of Charleston will now play the number seven Chattanooga in the semi-finals Saturday, April 23 at 3:00 p.m.
