Men’s Tennis Hosts Three for CofC Classic

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team will host a hidden dual tournament to conclude the Fall season this Friday, as the Cougars will square off with S.C. State, East Carolina and Georgia Southern at the CofC Classic.
The Cougars last competed at end of October, splitting up the team to take part in both the Georgia Southern Championships and the Players Choice Open. Jake Kusmider impressed with three singles wins in the Peach State, while Vasily Kichigin picked up two wins, including one over a ranked opponent, in Birmingham.
The Cougars have been exposed to all three of this weekend's opponents previously in the fall. Both S.C. State and Georgia Southern were present a couple weeks ago in Statesboro, while the Cougars traveled to East Carolina's campus to play in the ECU Fall Shootout back in mid-September.
The first action of the tournament is slated to kick off at 11 a.m. when the College's players square off against the Bulldogs for singles action.
