MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – The newly anointed No. 66 ranked tandem of Rodrigo Encinas and Juan Estevarena lead the College of Charleston men's tennis team to a win over Colonial Athletic Association rival Drexel, 5-2, on Tuesday.
The Cougars (10-5) entered the contest looking for their second CAA win this season, and has their sights set on a Drexel team (9-5) that has won its last match against Saint Peters on March 12.
Just hours before the match, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association released it's weekly rankings, and for the first time this season, Charleston's No. 1 doubles team of Rodrigo Encinas and Juan Estevarena cracked the top 100 in the doubles pairings.
