Four Cougars Begin Play at ITA Regional

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team begin play at the ITA Carolina Regional this weekend at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C. More than 128 competitors will be in action as the tournament begins on Friday with play rolling through until Tuesday afternoon.

The singles and doubles winners from each of the 12 USTA/ITA regions advance to the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, held November 7-11, at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Ariz.

Four Cougars will compete this weekend including freshmen Johnny Wang and Andre Limon, junior Easton Thomas and 2018 All-CAA First Team Singles and 2018 All-CAA second Team Doubles selection, senior Benedikt Henning.

Charleston Order of Play
Limon and Thomas begin play on Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the opening round while Herring and Wang open play at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. respectively.
