The Short Story: Despite Heffron's early heroics, Coastal Carolina scored two unanswered goals to earn the win.

• In the 44th minute, junior Rio Murray rocketed a ball from the top of the box, but it was blocked by a CCU defender out of bounds for a corner. On the corner, junior Jake Nicholson put one into the box and junior Cole Gulledge attempted to head the ball in, but it landed just high of the crossbar.
• CCU evened the score in the 56th minute when a Chanticleer attackman let one fly from the top of the box to beat Shuping.
• The Chanticleers scored the final goal of the match in the 71st minute to earn the win.
