The Short Story: Despite Heffron's early heroics, Coastal Carolina scored two unanswered goals to earn the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Heffron received a Maxwell cross and headed into the back of the net for his fifth goal of the season to take an early 1-0 lead in the 7^th minute.
• Shuping made a diving save in the 13^th minute to prevent the Chanticleers from evening the score.
• In the 44^th minute, junior Rio Murray rocketed a ball from the top of the box, but it was blocked by a CCU defender out of bounds for a corner. On the corner, junior Jake Nicholson put one into the box and junior Cole Gulledge attempted to head the ball in, but it landed just high of the crossbar.
• CCU evened the score in the 56^th minute when a Chanticleer attackman let one fly from the top of the box to beat Shuping.
• The Chanticleers scored the final goal of the match in the 71^st minute to earn the win.

The Cougars will remain at home for Senior Night to face off against James Madison on Saturday, Oct. 26 with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to celebrate our seniors.
