Quotable – Head Coach Angelo Anastopoulo
"It was a terrific day, the only thing that could have made it better was winning that tie-breaker to win the match… Other than that, I couldn't be more proud of the way the four seniors have represented the program with class, fight, heart and it was evident with Christi [Woodson] and Turner [Yates] giving it their all today in winning their matches and putting us in a position to win… Although Eva [Nyikos] came up a little short, she didn't lose today, her opponent just in the end was a little bit tougher in the tie-break… I like our position and the way we're competing entering the conference tournament."
On the senior class…
"Laura, Sarah, Christi and Turner, I get so emotional… You can tell how much this match meant to them and they really played at their best and really incorporated what we've been working on over their careers… Couldn't be more pleased with the way they handled this match in their going away match, their swansong."
