
Manusky Collects CAA Defensive Player of the Week Honors

ARLINGTON, Va. --- College of Charleston senior Logan Manusky (San Diego, Calif.) has been named the Colonial Athletic Association Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career announced league officials Monday.
Manusky led the Cougars to a weekend split at UNCW with a superb defensive effort averaging 6.56 digs per set and committing only one receiving error in 58 chances. The Briar Wood High School product started the weekend with a match-high 24 digs in the Cougars' 3-1 win on Saturday, a total which is tied for third on the program's single-match list with a contest-best 35 digs in Sunday's five-set setback. She has recorded at least 20 digs in five straight matches and is now tied for 13th on CofC's all-time digs list with 1,269 in her career.
The Cougars return to the court on Saturday when they host travel to Harrisonburg, Va. for back-to-back matches against James Madison in CAA play. First serve on Saturday is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. while Sunday's match is slated to begin at 2:00 p.m.
