Coastal Carolina jumped out to a 1-0 lead with wins in the second and third flights to secure the doubles point.
Victories at four's, one's and two's sealed the team win for the Chanticleers.
Andre Limon claimed the lone point for the Cougars with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 win at five's.
Karl Mosterd fell in three sets at three's after winning the first set, 6-4.
