Men's Tennis Heads North to Take on Monarchs and Camels

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston men's tennis team will travel to Fayetteville, N.C. on Saturday to take on Methodist and then Buies Creek, N.C. on Sunday to face off with Campbell. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The Cougars
Charleston enters the weekend looking to snap a three-match losing streak. Robby Krick (5-2) and Ben Husum (4-1) lead the way for CofC in singles play; that same duo paces the Cougars in doubles action with a 6-1 mark. Guido Argentini and Noah Borges boast a 5-2 record in doubles play as well.
Scouting Methodist
The Monarchs carry a 3-8 record into the weekend following a 6-3 setback to Averett University on Sunday. Jordan Theron paces Methodist with a 5-2 mark in singles play while he and Patrick Newsome carry a 4-3 record in doubles action.
Scouting Campbell
The Camels carry a 0-8 record into the weekend following a 4-3 setback to Presbyterian on Tuesday. Matthew Beecher leads the way for Campbell with a 3-3 mark in singles play while Beecher and Benjamin Niv are 3-2 in doubles action.
