Charleston WBB to Recognize Seniors on Saturday

This season, seniors have accounted for 79 starts and 44.2 percent of the team's scoring. Since conference play started, the Cougars have had at least three seniors in its starting lineup each game.
Each of the four seniors have spent all four years of their college playing days at The College. Manager Ben Harley has also been with the program for each of his four years at the College of Charleston.
Each of these seniors have exciting plans following graduation. Madison Taylor is a public health and major plans to pursue a master's degree and work in health administration. Latrice Perkins is a Sociology major at The College and plans to pursue a career in social work or therapy after basketball. Tyler Collins is a Computer Information Systems major at CofC and in August will begin her career as a Software Development Engineer at Macy's Technology in Atlanta. Arynn Eady is an accounting major at The College and will begin a career at Ernst and Young in Atlanta following graduation.
Madison TaylorCoach Harmony on Madison: "Madison is a hard-working an relentless defender that really makes our full-court press work. She has been a positive factor in the growth of Charleston women's basketball."
- Taylor has appeared in 97 games and started 48 in her career at CofC
- This season, Taylor has played in 23 games with nine starts
- Her career-high of 20 points came against Hofstra on Feb. 8, 2020
- Madison scored a season-high 14 points vs. JMU this season
- Taylor is averaging 1.5 steals per game this season, including two games with five steals or more
Coach Harmony on Latrice: "Trice is a great competitor who has the skills to dominate a game. She has worked hard to overcome a serious injury and be able to come back and contribute to our success."
- Latrice has appeared in 88 games and started 52 in her time at CofC
- She averaged 13.5 points and 2.0 steals per game as a sophomore to earn All-CAA third team honors
- Her junior season was shortened due to injury, but Latrice has bounced back this season to start 24 games
- This year, Perkins ranks third on the team with 11.7 points per contest
- At UNCW, Latrice posted season highs in points (24) and rebounds (11) to earn CAA Player of the Night honors
- Perkins has four games of more than 20 points this season
Coach Harmony on Arynn: "The best rebounder in CofC history. Arynn is a walking double-double with her ability to score and dominate the glass. She has set the standard for future players to follow."
- Arynn has played in 102 games and started 93 on her way to becoming CofC's division one leader in career rebounds
- Eady also ranks third on the school's all-time D1 blocks list
- Arynn has 23 career double-doubles
- Eady was named to the CAA All-Rookie team as a freshman and made the conference's all-defensive team as a junior
- This season, Arynn has 12 double-doubles and is averaging 11.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game
- Her rebounding average of 9.1 is the third-best mark for a single season in CofC's D1 history
Coach Harmony on Tyler: "Tyler has the ability to take over a game with her three-level scoring. She possesses outstanding basketball IQ and has contributed to the development of our basketball program over the last four years."
- Tyler has started 88 of the 101 games she has appeared in at CofC
- As a junior last season, Tyler started all 15 games on her way to being named to the All-CAA third team
- On Thursday vs. Hofstra, Tyler scored her 1000th career point
- She also ranks sixth on the all-time assists list at CofC
- This season, Tyler is averaging 8.1 points per game
- Collins averaged 12.2 points per game as a sophomore and 13.1 points per contest as a junior
