Chunn Named Defensive Player of the Week

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston women's soccer goalkeeper Ainsley Chunn named CAA Defensive Player of the Week after her performance against South Carolina last Thursday.Â
Chunn made her second career start against No. 21/15 South Carolina and posted a career-high eight saves in the 1-0 setback. The Mount Pleasant, S.C., product held the Gamecocks scoreless for 81 minutes. The sophomore keeper put up a valiant effort against nationally ranked South Carolina after seeing five of her eight saves come in the second half alone.
The Cougars return to action at High Point this Sunday, with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
