
Men's Tennis Falls to Coastal Carolina

CONWAY, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team (0-3) fell 5-2 to Coastal Carolina (3-0) at Stevens Tennis Complex on Tuesday afternoon.
Charleston took a 1-0 lead as the Cougars won the doubles point thanks to tiebreak wins on courts one and three. Jakub Solarski and Eddie Vo teamed up to win their tiebreak 9-7 in slot No. 1, while Leon Harder and Juan Diego Rojas Mora earned a 7-4 tiebreak win in position No. 3.
In singles play, Coastal Carolina took a 2-1 lead with sweeps on courts six and one. The Chanticleers then increased their advantage to 3-1 with a three-set win in slot No. 4.
After dropping his first set, Jakub Solarski battled back to win his next two sets 6-4, 6-3 to secure a point for the Cougars in position No. 2.
Holding a 3-2 advantage, Coastal Carolina won in three-sets on courts five and six as the Chanticleers defeated the Cougars 5-2 at Stevens Tennis Complex.
