
Cougars Down Skyhawks; Win Seventh Straight Match

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team (7-3) earned its seventh straight win with a 7-0 sweep against the Stonehill Skyhawks (3-7) at the Turner Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
The Cougars swept every court and did not drop a single set on Sunday.
Charleston cruised through doubles, winning all three courts and taking a 1-0 lead. In position No. 1, Jakub Solarski and Eddie Vo rolled past their opponents 6-1, while Ram Mude and Jake Smith also won 6-1 on court two and Juan Diego Rojas Mora and Leon Harder paired up to win 6-4 in slot No. 3.
In singles, Jordyn Larke put Charleston in front 2-0 as he won court five 6-0, 6-2. Dani Farran then gave the Cougars a 3-0 lead with a 6-1, 6-2 sweep on court three, and Leon Harder clinched the match with a dominant 6-1, 6-2 victory in slot No. 2.
Juan Diego Rojas Mora then won court six 6-4, 6-1 before Jakub Solarski earned a 6-4, 6-2 triumph in the No. 1 position and Jake Smith completed the sweep with a 6-1, 7-5 win on court four.
