Men's Soccer Adds Six to 2026 Roster

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston head men's soccer coach Keith Wiggans rounded out the 2026 roster with the additions of Federico Bellisi, Henrik Boer, Aiden Butts, Kira Fukuda, Arnau Olle and Michiharu Takanashi.
Federico Bellisi – Sophomore – Midfielder – 5'11 – Bologna, Italy
Bellisi comes to Charleston after his freshman campaign at North Idaho College. He played in 20 games and made 12 starts during his freshman year with the Cardinals. Bellisi added five goals and four assists for a total of 14 points in his first year of collegiate action. Prior to North Idaho College, Bellisi attended Liceo A Sabin in Bologna, Italy.
"Federico is a very talented midfielder who covers a tremendous amount of ground with his work rate and defensive presence," said Wiggans. "In possession, he has the vision and range of passing to unlock defenses and dictate the tempo of the game. I am excited to see the impact he will have on our midfield."
BELLISI'S FULL BIO
Henrik Boer – Graduate – Forward – 6'1 – Oegstgeest, Netherlands
Boer joins the Cougars after spending last season at Western Michigan. While with the Broncos, he appeared in 17 games and made seven starts. Boer totaled one assist, six shots and 517 minutes on the pitch last year. Prior to Western Michigan, he attended New Hampshire where he earned America East Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition.
"Henrik is an experienced, hardworking player with the versatility to contribute in several positions on the field," said Wiggans. "His athleticism and physical presence allow him to make an impact wherever he plays. He is a driven young man who will also be a great leader and role model for the younger players in our program."
BOER'S FULL BIO
Aiden Butts – Freshman – Defender – 5'10 – Summerville, S.C.
Butts joins the Cougars from Ashley Ridge High School located in Summerville, S.C. While in high school, he scored 12 goals and dished out 16 assists. He helped his team win a 5A state championship in 2023. Additionally, Butts played AAU for the South Carolina Surf for two years and helped the squad make club history with an ECNL quarterfinals appearance.
"Aiden is a local player we are very excited about," said Wiggans. "We have been watching him for the past few years, and he has consistently grown both as a player and as a person. He is driven to keep improving and is committed to helping our program achieve its goals. I look forward to watching him continue to develop during his time in Charleston."
BUTTS' FULL BIO
Kira Fukuda – Junior – Midfielder – 5'7 – Hiroshima, Japan
Fukuda joins Charleston after two years with Indian Hills CC. He helped the Warriors win the 2025 NJCAA DI Men's Soccer National Championship. He made 20 starts during his sophomore campaign and anchored the defense to a 1.08 goals against average, which was the third-lowest single season total in school history. He also contributed two assists against Southwestern Illinois during the national title campaign. During Fukuda's time with Indian Hills CC, he made 37 total starts and played in a total of 39 matches.
"Kira has a positive, outgoing personality that lights up a room and I have really enjoyed getting to know him," said Wiggans. "What first stood out to us was his aggressive, relentless work rate on the field. He will bring valuable qualities to our wing-back position, both defensively and in possession."
FUKUDA'S FULL BIO
Arnau Olle – Graduate – Midfielder – 6'1 – Barcelona, Spain
Olle joins the Cougars after four years with Lenoir-Rhyne. Olle started in 14 of the 16 games he appeared in during his senior campaign and was on the pitch for over 1,000 minutes. As a sophomore, he tallied four points with two goals and started all 18 games for the Bears. During Olle's four years with Lenoir-Rhyne, he appeared in 42 games and made 34 starts.
"Arnau is a very talented central midfielder who has the ability to control games with his composure on the ball and his determination to regain possession defensively," said Wiggans. "He arrives with a wealth of experience and will make an immediate impact on our program."
OLLE'S FULL BIO
Michiharu Takanashi – Junior – Forward – 5'11 – Ota, Japan
Takanashi joins Charleston after two years with Wilmington University. He made the All-CACC First Team after his sophomore season where he scored 10 goals and collected five assists for 25 points. He also played in 21 games and made 19 starts last year. During his freshman campaign, Takanashi was named the CACC Rookie of the Year after playing and starting in 20 games, while scoring 10 goals and adding three assists.
"Michi is a proven goal scorer," said Wiggans "Over the past two seasons at Wilmington University, he totaled 20 goals and 8 assists, showcasing his ability to make an impact in the final third. He will add quality and depth to our attack this fall. Beyond his talent, he is an incredible teammate who always puts the success of the team ahead of his own.
