Avery on choosing the College of Charleston: "Charleston was the complete package for me. When I came for my visit last year I fell in love with the campus, school and soccer program as a whole. I can't wait for the fall and the opportunity to play at Patriots Point. Who wouldn't want to go to school minutes from the beach?"
Club Coach Stevie Alabi on Avery: "The first thing that comes to mind when you mention Taylor's name is her dedication. I have never met a player more dedicated and focused than Taylor. She is immensely respected and looked up to by her teammates. I have been very fortunate to have had Taylor on my team the past several years. The amazing thing about Taylor is that her goalkeeping abilities have saved us on many occasions. Her ability to come off her line and read her opponent is unmatched. We went three seasons without losing a game and over half of those games were shut outs. Taylor is an absolute force. She commands her team and is the epitome of a great leader and an excellent goalkeeper. She is a great asset for the College of Charleston and I'm looking forward to the career she has ahead of her."
