Simply show your valid Cougar Card (College ID) to board any CARTA bus free of charge. Route no. 40 leaves from Mary and Meeting streets (the backside of the Charleston Visitor's Center garage).
"I am very excited about this wonderful opportunity to assist people in getting to Patriots Point, said Charleston Athletics Director Jerry Baker. "I truly appreciate that CARTA is willing to assist CofC students in getting out to our athletic events."
"CARTA is pleased to welcome CofC students and employees to ride at no cost from Downtown to the CofC Athletic Complex at Patriots Point to support the Cougars this upcoming tennis, baseball and softball season," said Howard R. Chapman, Executive Director of CARTA. "It is as easy as catching the route 40 bus and riding it directly to the game. We continue to invite all students and employees of the CofC to ride CARTA system-wide at no cost, whether you are going to class or the game, just show your Cougar Card."
