CofC Finishes Ranked In Four National Polls

The College of Charleston finished the 2006 season ranked in the top 14 in four college baseball polls.
The Cougars are ranked 12th by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, 13th by Collegiate Baseball and the USA Today, and 14th in Baseball America.
The Cougars finished the season with a 46-17 record and a 20-7 Southern Conference slate.
Charleston advanced to the Atlanta Super Regional after winning the Lexington Regional with wins over Notre Dame, Ball State and host Kentucky in the title game.
Charleston, which has posted a 141-48 record over the past three seasons, also claimed the school's first Southern Conference Tournament crown.
