
Five Cougars Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Sophomore Parker Sweeney, redshirt senior Ethan Plyler and graduates Reece Holbrook, Dylan Johnson and Kurt Rogers earned spots on the 2026 Baseball College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, which were announced on Tuesday, June 2.
The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must have more than two semesters of academics, competed in at least 90 percent of the team's contests or 17 games as a pitcher and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, which will be announced later in June.
