QUOTABLE – HEAD COACH CANDICE M. JACKSON
"We definitely have to be ready to guard the perimeter... They [Lipscomb] are guard-oriented and they play well together, we have to play strong team defense, communicate consistently and close out on their shooters. We're a fast-paced team and we like to get out in transition and push the ball as much as we can... We're a hard team to guard when we get the ball and go... [This week in practice] We really focused on getting ourselves together, working on us, our offensive execution, key defensive principles and talking, talking is a big thing for us... We've been working on getting back on track."
