QUOTABLE – HEAD COACH CANDICE M. JACKSON
On playing James Madison on Friday...
"We need to play smart, we need to be consistent... We definitely have to take care of the ball... Defensively, they [James Madison] have such good guard play and are really solid at all five positions, so we just have to maintain our focus, our level of intensity... We've either started really well and dropped off or we don't start so hot and then we get going... With a team like James Madison we have to play a full 40 minutes and that's what I'm looking for from my team."
On the team's road performances
"We're able to be a lot more focused [on the road]... There's less distractions, fewer things for them [the team] to worry about on the road so that's one of the things we're learning is taking that level of focus and really locking in when we play at home, but on the road it's more of a business trip and our girls have done a good job of treating it as such."
