QUOTABLE – HEAD COACH CANDICE M. JACKSON
On playing Towson on Sunday...
"On Friday [against James Madison], the only issue that I would say is that we couldn't put the ball in the hole, it wouldn't fall for us... So tomorrow [against Towson] our level of confidence, we've got to let our defense fuel our offense, get some easy transition scores from there and then that will open up a lot of other things for us... But certainly seeing that ball fall through that net will be the turning point for us."
On keeping the juniors/seniors confident when shots aren't falling...
"I told them that all of the shots we took [on Friday vs. JMU] were good shots, I would tell them to take those shots all over again with a different level of confidence... You've gotta believe in what you're doing, believe in what you're putting out there... They were great shots, we've just got to see them go in... For Darien [Huff], it's tough for her as a scorer [when shots don't fall], there's other ways to get your energy flowing and get it [a rhythm] going and she's working through that... For Deja [Ford], the same thing... She took some tough shots, she's a great player, she's been great for us in terms of scoring and leading and rebounding, but I told her to take the exact same shots over again and they'll fall."
