The short story: The College improve to 10-5 on the season after sweeping Rhode Island in Head Coach Angelo Anastopoulo's 1,000th career match.
 
OPENING SERVE
  • Anastopoulo became one of the few coaches in the country to coach 1,000 career matches.
  • The combination of Anastasia Palaska and Elizabeth Nowak gifted the Cougars the doubles point after splitting the No. 2 and 3 positions.
  • Nyikos gave the Cougars a 2-0 lead after getting her first win at the No. 1 position in straight sets.
  • Catalina Medici took down her opponent in straight sets at the No. 6 position to give the Cougars a 3-0 lead.
  • Palaska clinched the match for The College after getting a win in straight sets in the No. 2 position.
  • Lily LaBiche, Elizabeth Nowak and Victoria Walter got wins in their respective positions which gave CofC the 7-0 sweep.
