CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball hits the road for the final time in the regular season to take on Delaware in a critical CAA matchup on Thursday, March 5 with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.
Last Outing
The College pulled out a 66-61 overtime win over Northeastern at home on senior day to make it three wins in-a-row on March 1. Freshman Taylor Williams led the way for the Cougars as she notched her first double-double of the season with career highs in points (22) and rebounds (13). Senior Baileigh Larson logged six points and a career-high 10 rebounds while sophomores Latrice Perkins and Tyler Collins chipped in 14 and 10 points, respectively. This marked the first victory over the Huskies since the 2014-15 season. The game was a back-and-forth scoring affair in the first half in which the score was tied at the break. The Cougars defense was stifling in the third quarter, only allowing eight Northeastern points, taking a nine-point lead into the fourth. Northeastern rallied back and tied the game at the end of regulation, halting Charleston from scoring for five minutes of pay in the fourth. A combination of good offense and great defense led the Cougars to victory in overtime.

Scouting Delaware
Delaware enters the game with an overall record of 10-17 and a 6-10 record in CAA play. The Blue Hens are looking to bounce back from a three-game losing skid. They most recently fell to James Madison by a score of 69-64.
Head Coach Natasha Adair is in the midst of her third season at the helm of the program. In her first season, Adair led the Blue Hens to its most wins (19) and first postseason appearance since the 2013-14 season. Adair was the former Women's Basketball Head Coach at the College of Charleston from the 2012-14 seasons.
Nicole Enabosi leads the team in scoring with 17 points per game, which ranks fifth in the CAA, and is second on the team in rebounding with 7.9 per game. Jasmine Dickey is the only other double-digit scorer with 12.4 points per game but is third in the CAA with 9.3 boards per game.

- Senior Deja Ford became the 28th Cougar in program history to join the 1,000-point club.

- Sophomore Arynn Eady ranks first in rebounds in the CAA with 9.5 per game.
- Freshman Taylor Williams notched her first career double-double in an OT win over Northeastern at home, logging a career high in points (22) and rebounds (13).
- Sophomore Madison Taylor scored a career-high 20 points against Hofstra at home.
- Eady logged a career-high 18 rebounds twice this season, one in a 67-63 OT win over UNCW on Jan. 26 and the other in a 70-64 loss to William & Mary on Feb. 7, which is tied for fourth most in a single game in program history.
- Senior Deja Ford earned her first CAA Player of the Week honors for the week of 12/30 through 1/5 after scoring 59 points while leading the Cougars to three wins.
- Arynn Eady has five double-doubles on the season while Latrice Perkins has three.
- Perkins and Collins became the first Cougars since 2015 to score at least 29 points in a single game.
- The Cougars forced 33 turnovers against Coker on Nov. 12 which tied the most in a single game since 2010 when CofC took down Wofford.
- Perkins earned Harris Teeter Student-Athlete of the Week honors (Nov. 6-12).
- Eady earned Harris Teeter Student-Athlete of the Week honors twice this season for play through Nov. 13-19 and Jan. 22-28.
- Ford earned Harris Teeter Student-Athlete of the Week honors (Dec. 30-Jan. 5).
- Ford was named a Preseason All-CAA Honorable Mention.
