CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston plays its second straight home CAA series when James Madison heads to TD Arena for games on Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. Admission for both contests is free.

HEAD COACH ROBIN HARMONY (18-20 in second years at CofC; 264-134 in 14 years overall)
Robin Harmony is in her second season at CofC after leading the Cougars to a 13-17 record in 2019-20, a six-win improvement over the previous season and the most wins since going 19-15 in 2013-14. The team also doubled its CAA win total from three to six, including a 73-59 victory over Drexel, one of only two CAA losses suffered by the eventual conference co-champions.
Harmony was 131-48 in six seasons at St. Thomas (Fla.) and 115-66 in six seasons at Lamar before coming to CofC. She began her coaching career as an assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson in 1987-88 and was on the staff at her alma mater, the University of Miami, from 1988-2005.
COUGARS SPLIT WITH WILLIAM & MARY IN CAA OPENERS
CofC played its first CAA games of the season last weekend and split the series with William & Mary at TD Arena. The Tribe took a 57-44 win on Saturday, and the Cougars were a 69-66 victor on Sunday.
Arynn Eady had a pair of double-doubles with 13 points and 12 rebounds in the first game on 12 points and 13 boards in Sunday's win. She also blocked eight shots in the two games, including five on Saturday to tie a career high.
All five Cougar starters scored in double figures on Sunday. Tyler Collins led the way with 19 points, followed by Tyler Gray with 15, Eady with 12, Chelsea Wooten with 11 and Amira Williams with 10. CofC dominated on the glass with a 50-30 advantage and held the Tribe to 37.1 percent shooting.
Wooten also had four rebounds, four assists and two steals in her first career start.
WILLIAMS NAMED CAA ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Amira Williams became the second Cougar freshman named CAA Rookie of the Week after her play in the split with William & Mary. Tyler Gray previously won the award on December 21.
Williams scored 10 points in both games against the Tribe, had a season-high nine rebounds on Saturday and eight more the following day. She also blocked four shots over the weekend, including a rejection of a 3-point shot in the waning seconds that clinched the 69-66 win on Sunday.
Williams moved into the starting lineup against NC Wesleyan on December 11 and has reached double figures in scoring three times in her four starts.
PERKINS RETURNING TO ACTION
Junior guard Latrice Perkins is available to play for the first time since being injured late in the 2019-20 season. Perkins was on the All-CAA third team last year after leading the team and ranking ninth in the CAA with 13.5 points per game. She also paced the Cougars with 150 field goals and 53 steals and was second with a .457 field goal percentage and 50 assists.
ABOUT JAMES MADISON (7-5, 3-2 CAA)
The Dukes have split CAA series against Elon and Northeastern and also have a league win over Towson. JMU also has a non-conference victory over Virginia to its credit.
Kiki Jefferson leads the Dukes and ranks fourth in the CAA with an average of 15.7 points per game, and Peyton McDaniel is also in double figures at 12.9. Jefferson is 11th in the conference in rebounding with 6.3 per game, one spot behind teammate Rayne Tucker (7.0).
Jefferson is also sixth in the CAA in field goal percentage (.496), ninth in 3-point percentage (.350), second in free throw (.862).
COUGARS VS. DUKES
James Madison has won 14 in a row over the Cougars and is 15-1 overall since CofC joined the CAA in 2013-14. The Dukes won last year 87-53 in Charleston and 81-50 in Harrisonburg. The Cougars' lone win in the series came by a score of 85-78 on February 27, 2014 at TD Arena.

EADY SEEKING CONSECUTIVE CAA REBOUNDING CROWN
Arynn Eady raised her season rebounding average to 10.1 (second in the CAA) after pulling down 25 in the two games against William & Mary last weekend. The junior forward paced the conference with 9.7 rpg a year ago, and her 290 total boards in 2019-20 are the second most in a season in school history.
Eady reached the 500-rebound milestone in a win over Winthrop and added 17 against NC Wesleyan, one shy of her career high set against UNCW (1/26/20) and William & Mary (2/7/20). With 549 rebounds, she needs 21 to move into the Top 10 in school history during the Division I era.
COLLINS DISHES OUT THE ASSISTS
Junior guard Tyler Collins is eighth in the CAA with 3.5 assists per game including six against Wofford, Clemson and Winthrop. She has 242 in her career and needs 12 more to crack the Top 10 at CofC during the Division I era.
As a freshman in 2018-19, Collins had 131 assists, the sixth most in a season in school history, and ranked third in the CAA with 4.4 apg. She tied the school mark with 12 assists in her collegiate debut vs. North Greenville.
